The Adjustable Detachable Furniture Strap Kit is constructed of high strength Nylon webbing with two painted steel end brackets for attaching to wall studs and a special swivel mounting cam buckle on the other end. The cam buckle automatically locks the strap in place after it is pulled to size.
The straps are easily connected and disconnected when moving furniture to access wires or electrical outlets. In most cases these straps can be installed out of view for better aesthetics. These straps are especially useful when securing microwaves, desktop copiers(using existing screws on back of appliance), book cases, and odd shaped furniture, cabinets with thin veneered tops (by attaching to the furniture's back brace), furniture placed away from walls, or in corners where other brackets won’t work. Straps can also be wrapped around open back shelf units or baker’s style racks.
The kit consists of:
- (2) 1” x 18” commercial grade nylon straps with swivel cam locking buckles.
- (2) painted steel end brackets for attaching to wall studs to allow length adjustment.
- (2) lag screws and (4) 3/4" tek screws.
- Available in black, medium brown, silver, tan, or white
Installation is simple, attach the swivel cam ends to the furniture top, or back along the frame and attach the steel bracket to a wall stud and pull the strap end tight. The buckle can be adjusted to fasten items that sit 1” to 14” inches from the wall.
